I will research many aspects to influence my film. Colour theory, music/sound, cinematography and history and context of genre classification will develop my understanding of film as a whole and propose ideas. My main inspiration comes from American Psycho and the presentation of narcissism and inflated ego. I will get feedback on potential ideas by releasing questionnaires to my demographic audience and judge what will work well for the final product of a short film. I will document all ideas, alterations and discoveries in a separate production diary to develop the creation.
